We provide training for accounting and property management personnel to teach your staff how to track utility data as well as how to use the data to obtain operating cost savings. We can also provide monthly or quarterly follow-up visits to assist your staff in resolving the issues that tracking data highlights.

We profile each property using historical utility bills and complete a thorough analysis of the bills including unusual charges, utility rate classifications, taxes and energy procurement options. We identify and report on the cost savings opportunities and assist your staff in following up to realize the savings.

We provide tracking tools so that each utility invoice can be monitored for energy usage and cost-related key performance indicators. This allows building performance to be monitored over time, maintenance issues to be identified and cost savings to be booked.

We can assist in contracting for electricity and/or natural gas in states such as MO,TX, IL, KS and GA that have deregulated so that the energy commodity can be purchased from entities other than the local utility.

We implement energy management programs on a full or part time basis or support the efforts of your existing staff to plan and implement a program. This page describes our process and experience.
